My approach is integrative: I adapt my approach to suit the client's needs and draw on a range of schools of psychology to collaboratively explore each unique individual's experience.
I have several years' experience working with clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties, from anxiety, depression and relationship issues to personality disorders. I work with both long and short-term clients, though I aim to build a long-term therapeutic relationship with my clients. In addition to my private practice, I have also worked at MIND (the mental health charity) and the NHS.
I am currently undertaking doctoral research into gay male domestic abuse victims' experiences of accessing therapy, and also have a particular interest in how the unique challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community can impact their mental health.
